'The Brazilian Templars Mystery: Episode 2' Premiere

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present “The Brazilian Templars Mystery: Episode 2 — Cave Mysteries and Amazon Miracles” on Sunday, June 22 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

In the shadowy heart of Brazil, echoes of the medieval past whisper from cave walls and tribal memories.

“The Brazilian Templars Mystery: Episode 2 — Cave Mysteries and Amazon Miracles” follows researcher Dr. Kathleen Ball as she returns to the Brazilian interior on a quest to unravel one of history’s most enigmatic secrets — the presence of the Knights Templar in South America.

Amid the wild beauty of Alto Paraíso and the depths of Rio Branco, Ball is joined by indigenous shamans and members of the Kalunga tribe — descendants of runaway African slaves who once hid in sacred caves and preserved ancient knowledge. In the Amazon, she is welcomed by the Huni Kuin people, undergoing a ceremonial healing and interviewing the tribal chief whose traditions echo a wisdom older than recorded history. Hidden carvings, cryptic alignments, and unexplained phenomena suggest a forgotten chapter of humanity’s past — one the modern world was never meant to find.

Steeped in mystery and guided by intuition, Cave Mysteries and Amazon Miracles is a journey into the unknown — where ancient faith, forbidden knowledge, and the spirit of the land converge in astonishing ways.

A short lecture and Q&A by Dr. Kathleen Ball will follow the film screening.

“The Brazilian Templars Mystery: Episode 2 — Cave Mysteries and Amazon Miracles” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Sunday, June 22 at 4:00 p.m.
