'The Count of Monte Cristo' Film Premiere

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “The Count of Monte Cristo”, showing Jan. 3-9 at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

Arrested on his wedding day for a crime he didn't commit, Edmond Dantes spends fourteen years in prison. After a daring escape, he becomes the wealthy Count of Monte Cristo and seeks revenge on the three men who betrayed him.

An epic and lavish revenge story, “The Count of Monte Cristo” is a landmark adaptation of a classic novel that has been a hit with critics and audiences alike around the world.

"A stunning, emotionally satisfying adventure tale, built on rock-solid source material. This latest version is briskly paced and rousingly acted by an all-around stellar ensemble." — Peter Debruge, Variety
