'The Gutter' Film Premiere

'The Gutter' Film Premiere

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “The Gutter” showing Nov. 1-7 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.

“The Gutter” features a stellar ensemble cast, including Susan Sarandon, D’Arcy Carden, Shameik Moore, Jay Ellis, Jackée Harry and Paul Reiser.

America’s 15th favorite pastime just got dangerous in this boisterous, hysterical comedy.

Walt (Shameik Moore) is an unemployed underachiever who discovers a newfound talent for bowling. Encouraged by a barfly named Skunk (D’Arcy Carden), he launches a pro career to save the local bowling alley from foreclosure.

With his powerful rolling skills and unconventional style, Walt becomes an unlikely bowling hero — much to the chagrin of legendary champion Linda “The Crusher” Curson (Susan Sarandon).

“The Gutter” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre Nov. 1-7. Showtimes will be Friday, Saturday and Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2 and 5 at 3:30 p.m.; and Sunday and Thursday, Nov. 3 and 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $12 general admission, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
