The Franciscan Renewal Center is happy to welcome Fr. Philip Chircop back to our campus.  During this retreat we will look deep into the gospel call for peace through non-violence by exploring and unwrapping the well known prayer "Make me an instrument of your peace" attributed to St Francis of Assisi. We will let music, stories, poetry and silence boldly but gently challenge us to resist the forces of evil and negativity with the spirit of goodwill, gratitude and generosity. We will explore how we can all make a difference for good in ordinary ways without necessarily being heroes or saints on a pedestal.
Fr. Philip Chircop, SJFr. Philip Chircop, SJ, was born on the Mediterranean archipelago nation of Malta. He has advanced degrees in pastoral Theology, Communications, and Spirituality. He has worked in high schools, universities, and in parish settings in various capacities. He is a full-time presenter of retreats throughout the world.
