Bring your own bait and rod for a VVCC free Youth Fishing Tournament at the Verde Village Pond. No fishing license is needed because this is our private property.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the day in each age category of 6 to 11 and 12 to 18 for most fish caught, largest catfish and largest carp. Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Refreshments including burgers and hot dogs sponsored by Cowboy Club will be for sale. All proceeds go to the VVCC “Save the Pond” fund.
Registration forms to bring to the pond when you fish are available at vvpoa.net/fish.
