It is time to get excited for summer 2026 as the Arboretum gets ready to host our annual Eco Explorers Summer Camps! Campers will be immersed in the beauty of nature while utilizing our 200 acre outdoor classroom to enjoy unforgettable hands-on learning and the opportunity to meet other adventurous kids like them! Campers must be prepared to be outdoors most of the day weather permitting.
Camps will be held Monday - Friday from 9:00 am-4:00 pm for kids ages 5-11.

The ‘Tis Art Center & Gallery, in partnership with the Museum of Indigenous People, invites the public to experience “Journeys in Spirit 2026: Traditional and Contemporary Native Art.” This premier annual exhibition, held in Prescott, Arizona, is a free community event showcasing the rich cultural heritage and diverse artistic expressions of Native American artists. Running from May 13 through June 23, 2026, the showcase features a stunning collection of paintings, basketry, jewelry, photography, beadwork, and ceramics.
The exhibition highlights the extraordinary talent of artists with tribal affiliations including Hopi, Cherokee, Diné, Yaqui, Choctaw, Muskogee Creek, Yavapai, and more. Visitors will gain unique insight into the role of art as a vehicle for storytelling and the preservation of sacred traditions. Many participating artists live within their tribal communities, bringing authentic and powerful cultural narratives to this immersive gallery experience.
Event Location and Reception Details The exhibition is hosted at ‘Tis Art Center & Gallery, located at 105 South Cortez Street, Prescott, AZ 86303. A special Artist Reception will take place during Prescott’s 4th Friday Art Walk on May 22 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This reception offers a rare opportunity for guests to engage directly with the creators, learning about their specific techniques and the personal stories behind their work. This event, known as parkrun, takes place every Saturday morning - same time, same place, same 5K distance. Run, walk, jog, walk the dog, push the grandchildren in a stroller, or volunteer - this event is free, for everyone, forever. It is an opportunity to get outside into the fresh air with a bunch of like-minded folks. It’s is worldwide. Join us for our 29th year! "See your neighbors. Meet your farmers. Know your food." The Prescott Farmers Market takes place Saturdays from 7:30am to 12:00pm at 900 Iron Springs Road (Dignity Health, YRMC Miller Valley lot at Iron Springs/Miller Valley) from April 4 through October 31, 2026. What started out as a small production on a dirt lot, has today turned into a thriving local market with food vendors, art, fresh produce, and more! The Flagstaff Community Market is dedicated to providing an outlet for small-scale vendors the opportunity to thrive in our community by giving them a place to sell their local, sustainably grown food as well as other hand-crafted products. This market also promotes education in the community and works to encourage those in rural and urban parts in the city to grow their own food. The Flagstaff Community Market started in 2000 and now has a partner market focused solely on supporting local artisans called the Flagstaff Urban Flea Market. The annual Beethoven 5K is a run that celebrates classical music, nature, community, and the 76 years of joy and inspiration FSO has offered to all residents of Flagstaff and northern Arizona. Join us on June 13 for the Beethoven 5K and support Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra!
Why Beethoven?The opening four-note motif of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony is one of the most recognizable and iconic sequences in classical music. Beethoven's influence is immeasurable, and he left an enduring legacy that continues to inspire musicians and audiences. It is also known that Beethoven found inspiration in nature and often composed while walking in the countryside. He believed that spending time outdoors helped stimulate his creativity. We invite you to celebrate Beethoven, classical music, and FSO with us this June for the Beethoven 5K.

The Flagstaff Folk Festival is a family-friendly, live music festival nestled under the Ponderosa Pines in Flagstaff, Arizona. Festival attendees will access more than 100 musical acts on five different stages, a full schedule of educational music-related workshops, a selection of tasty treats in our Food Court, and an Artisan Market offering one-of-a-kind creations by local artists. New festival features this year include: enhanced focus on performances by Teen musicians; a Route 66 Centennial Songwriting Competition; and a special tribute the late great cowboy poet Tony Norris. We’ll also introduce a new festival app that will allow greater connection between festival attendees and our artists, vendors and sponsors.
$20 for each indvidual day or a $35 full weekend pass
