en.wikipedia.org

An Arizona lawmaker say he’s thankful nobody was injured after a robbery at a grocery store that his family owns in Coolidge.

Representative T.J. Shope was chairing House votes when he learned of the armed robbery Thursday afternoon.

Shope, a Republican, is Speaker pro tem and often runs floor sessions at the state Legislature.

Police responded to Shope's IGA store and initial reports indicated that an unidentified man pulled out a weapon during the incident.

Shope tweeted that all three suspects were later arrested.
