Police in the west Phoenix suburb of El Mirage say they fatally shot a suicidal man who had two knives on Tuesday.
The El Mirage police department says it responded to a call of a suicidal person around three o’clock Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say the man allegedly displayed two knives.
Officers pleaded with the man to drop the knives.
They ultimately fired shots and the man, who has not been identified, was killed.
No officers were injured.
