Thousands of people participated in peaceful protests in Phoenix over the death of George Floyd.

Phoenix police said there were no arrests Tuesday night as one crowd marched in the heart of downtown and another gathered at the state Capitol. The protests ended early in the evening, with most participants leaving by the 8 p.m. start of a statewide curfew imposed by Gov. Doug Ducey. Tuesday was the sixth consecutive night of protests but the second straight night with no arrests. More than 1,000 demonstrators also gathered in two areas of Flagstaff to protest. There were no arrests.
