Hopi Tribe Orders Curfew, Extends Stay-At-Home Order

en.wikipedia.org

The Hopi Tribe will extend a stay-at-home order through July 3 as coronavirus cases continue to rise on the reservation. The tribal government has also implemented a nightly curfew through June 30.

Residents are asked to stay in their homes from 8pm to 5am on weekdays, and to avoid all nonessential travel during the next two weekends.

Tribal leaders say coronavirus cases have increased rapidly in recent weeks.   There are now more than 150 known cases among tribal members.
