Body Of Drowned Man Recovered From Blue Ridge Reservoir

Coconino County Sheriff's Office

The body of a drowned man was recovered yesterday from the Blue Ridge Reservoir, also known as the C.C. Cragin Reservoir. The victim was 32-year-old Austin Smith of Payson.  The Coconino County and Gila County sheriff’s offices conducted a search after receiving a report of a swimmer who’d gone underwater near the boat ramp. Divers and a trained search dog recovered Smith’s body from the lake. An investigation is ongoing.
