The non-profit Association for Supportive Childcare is offering free virtual trainings to all child care providers to help minimize the risk of COVID-19 in preschools, child care centers and home-based settings.

The training includes basic information about caring for children in group settings during the pandemic, and how to help prevent the spread of the virus. The training is free to all child care providers as a result of funding from the Arizona Department of Economic Security. The virtual training is offered several times a week, including on Saturdays, in English and Spanish. It’s available to both licensed and non-licensed caregivers. Providers can find more information, including registration at www.asccaz.org.
