Several large wildfires continue to burn across the state. Crews are in various stages of containment on each.

The Mangum Fire burning near the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park has burned more than 71,ooo acres and is 68% contained. Crews are focusing efforts on the northeast section of the fire north of Highway 89A. Officials say they're working to tentatively open highways 89A and 67 for public travel on Sunday.

The human-caused Bush Fire burning northeast of Phoenix has burned nearly 190,000 acres and is 90% contained. A Type I Incident Management Team will transition command of the fire to the Arizona Central West Zone Type 3 Team.

And, the Bighorn Fire burning in the Santa Catalina Mountains in Tucson is 33% contained with more than 81,000 acres burned. The Coronado National Forest Santa Catalina Ranger District has expanded its forest closure order in the interest of firefighter and public safety.
