Diamondbacks Beat Padres, Manager Becomes First Ejected In COVID-19 Era

AP/Kelvin Kuo

The Arizona Diamondbacks had a narrow victory against the San Diego Padres Sunday at an empty Petco Park Stadium in San Diego.

The Diamondbacks, who struggled offensively in their first two games of the season, came back to life to rally for the 4-3 win. The Diamondback’s masked manager Torey Lovullo became the first MLB manager to be ejected from a game in the COVID-19 era for arguing with a plate umpire.
