Gov. Ducey To Attend RNC Nomination Acceptance Speech In D.C.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey will be in Washington, D.C. this evening at the invitation of President Trump to watch President Trump’s Republican nomination acceptance speech at the White House.

The governor’s office announced that Ducey and his wife, Angela, will attend tonight’s White House event at the request of President Trump. Ducey has praised Trump in Arizona’s fight against the coronavirus, and he recently appearing at a Trump campaign rally in Yuma. The Republican governor met with the President at the White House early this month to accept praise for lower virus numbers in the state.
