Vice President Mike Pence will make a campaign stop in Peoria Thursday. It comes as a COVID-19 diagnosis has at least temporarily put President Trump in the hospital in Maryland.

Pence will host a general-admission midday rally. Trump canceled multiple planned stops in Arizona, including at Flagstaff’s Pulliam Airport, after contracting the virus. He also scheduled a Tucson stop, which was also cancelled. Democrats Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will make their first stops in Arizona Thursday.
