Arizona health officials today reported 975 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 17 more deaths.
The state’s seven-day rolling average continues to increase. The Arizona Department of Health Services so far this week has reported two days with new case counts over 1,000.
New cases and deaths from the virus, however, remain far below a spike in July when Arizona became a national hotspot. Hospitalizations and ICU and ventilator use are also at lower levels than the summer.
