Verde Valley Fair Plans In-Person Return, Coconino County Deliberates

istock.com

The Verde Valley Fair will return to in-person events in Cottonwood later this month, according to organizers.

The annual event’s live format was cancelled last year due to the pandemic. A virtual event was held instead. This year’s lineup includes livestock shows and rodeos. The Fair will run from late April into early May. The announcement comes as officials in Coconino County deliberate a virtual, in-person, or hybrid format for the September county fair. This year’s Eastern Navajo Fair was cancelled in back in January for the second consecutive year. Governor Doug Ducey’s office announced last month the Arizona State Fair will operate in-person this year, moving to a new location in Chandler.
