Coconino County Fair To Be Held In-Person After 2020 All-Virtual Event
This year’s Coconino County Fair will be held in-person after going all virtual last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Officials with Parks and Recreation say the 72nd annual fair on Labor Day weekend will operate with guidance from Coconino County Health and Human Services and consideration of the latest recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on outdoor activities and large events. Vaccinated people will not be required to wear face coverings, but unvaccinated people will be asked to wear masks, especially in indoor spaces. Fair officials encourage social distancing at the fair and suggest purchasing online tickets ahead of time to avoid standing in crowded lines.
