Yavapai County Sheriff Searching For Missing Person

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person. Authorities say 37-year-old Colleen L Reckow was last seen in the Bloody Basin area on July 1.

She is described as a white woman with short brown hair and brown eyes; 5-foot-4 inches tall, 135 pounds. Reckow was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue bandana; The Yavapai Sheriff’s Office says her abandoned vehicle was discovered three miles east of I-17. This is at least the second time Reckow has been reported missing within the last year. In October of 2020, the Yavapai County Sheriff launched a search for her in the area of Arcosanti in Cordes Lakes. She was later found camping near the East Verde River and taken to the hospital for possible dehydration.
