High COVID-19 Transmission Continues In Coconino County, 373 New Cases Reported

Health officials in Coconino County continue to report a high rate of COVID-19 community transmission in their weekly virus update released today.

They confirmed 373 new infections between Sept. 12-18, which is higher than the same week last year.

Flagstaff’s 86011 zip code, which includes the Northern Arizona University campus, had the highest increase in cases from the previous week at 85%. Williams continues to have the lowest cumulative percentage of fully vaccinated people in the county.

State health officials reported just under 3,000 new know COVID infections today and 10 additional deaths. All 15 Arizona continue to report high levels of community transmission.
