Arizona health officials Thursday reported nearly 2,386 new known cases of COVID-19 and six additional deaths.

New hospitalizations from COVID remain mostly flat since mid-September. Statewide, more than 68% of eligible people have received at least one shot of COVID vaccine and about half of all Arizona residents have been fully vaccinated.

All but one of Arizona’s 15 counties remain at a high level of community transmission. La Paz County was recently downgraded to substantial. Eighty six percent of the U.S., however, continues to show high rates of COVID spread.
