Navajo police ask for public's help in locating missing person, 60-year-old Benson Brown

The Navajo Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person.

Authorities say 60-year-old Benson Brown was last seen around October 21st. He is from Red Rock, New Mexico on the Navajo Nation.

Brown is described as a Native American/Navajo male, approximately 5’6’, 180 pounds with brown eyes and grey hair. He is known to walk from his home in Red Rock to Gallup, New Mexico and back. Brown wears a wrap on his right knee and walks with a black wooden cane.

His disappearance has been entered into the National Crime Information Center.

Navajo police say anyone with information on his whereabouts or well-being is urged to contact the Navajo Police Department Crownpoint District at 505-786-2050, or call 911.
