The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 3.0 magnitude earthquake Saturday night near Flagstaff. The quake was reported at 9:24 p.m. about fifty miles southeast of the city.
The USGS described the quake as having a 5.0 km depth. The epicenter was recorded between Flagstaff and Winslow, close to the San Francisco Plateau.
At least five people called emergency services to report feeling the earth move, some as far away as Sedona. There were no reports of damage.
