Coconino County Emergency Management says a BNSF train derailed just east of Williams Wednesday night.
The train was carrying a variety of new cars, vans and trucks when 23 cars derailed and sustained heavy damage.
It’s not clear what led to the derailment.
Officials say no one was injured and clean-up was underway Thursday morning.
