Michele grew up in northern Illinois and came to Flagstaff in 1978. She had careers at the City of Flagstaff, Northern Arizona University and W.L. Gore & Associates. During her time at NAU, she graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies degree in 1995. She enjoys reading, crocheting, and traveling.
