Coconino Sheriff's Office Asks For Public's Help In Locating Missing Man

UPDATE: According to the Coconino County Sheriff's Office, Jeremiah Etsitty has been found safe at a residence in Kayenta.

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man.

Authorities say Jeremiah Etsitty was last seen on December 21st at a family members residence in Kayenta, on the Navajo Nation. On December 26th, a third party contacted Etsitty’s employer in Tusayan and said he was going to miss work that day. The individual indicated Etsitty may have been on his way to Flagstaff Medical Center for treatment. Etsitty takes prescribed medications that were located in his apartment in Tusayan. It is unknown if he has any of these medications with him. Etsitty is described as a Native American male, 6’ tall, 205 pounds with brown hair and eyes. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts or wellbeing is encouraged to call the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, or 911.
