Fire crews are currently working a wildfire on Bumblebee Road, northeast of Crown King.
The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office says the Bumblebee Fire was spotted this morning just before 10 and has grown to more than 200 acres in a northerly directly, being pushed by strong winds. The Daisy Mountain Fire Department and U.S. Forest Service are coordinating firefighting efforts. At least 5 air tankers are on scene. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office and Jeep Posse have been sent to the fire in the event of evacuations and road closures.
