The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning through Saturday for elevations below five thousand feet.
Record-breaking temperatures are expected the next few days. Temperatures at Phantom Ranch in the Grand Canyon are set to hit 111 by Friday, with 119 the expected high for Bullhead City and Lake Havasu.
