The CEO of the cybersecurity firm conducting the state Senate’s partisan audit of the 2020 election in Maricopa County and other team members have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Republican Senate President Karen Fann, Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan, a supporter of former President Donald Trump, and several others involved are “quite sick” with the virus.
GOP lawmakers were set to receive the company’s findings today, but the report will be delayed and the Senate will only receive a partial draft. Fann didn't give a date for delivery of the full draft and says it'll be at least several weeks before it's released to the public.
The delay is the latest for the unprecedented partisan review. It has so far taken more than double the 60 days it was originally supposed to take.
Many election experts say it can’t be taken seriously. The ballots had been counted and audited twice already without any sign of irregularities.
