NAU To End Semester At Fall Break Amid Coronavirus Surge In AZ

KNAU

Northern Arizona University will end its fall semester just before the Thanksgiving holiday as a measure to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Many students leave camps for holiday gatherings with family and friends across the country.  Colleges and universities nationwide have been rearranging schedules so that most students don’t return to campus immediately after the Thanksgiving holiday. Both Arizona State University and the University of Arizona will conduct classes online after November 26th. NAU reported on November 6 that it was managing 57 active COVID-19 cases on and off campus. The New York Times has reported more than a quarter of a million cases on college campuses nationwide.
