Navajo Nation Seeks Public's Help In Finding 2 Missing Girls

Navajo Police Department

Navajo Nation Police are searching for two missing sisters last seen Sunday in Ft. Defiance. They are seven year old Jayda John and fourteen year old Jaylee Spencer.

The children’s uncle reportedly left his home to haul fire wood and returned to find the girls gone. Officials believe his girlfriend, Kristy Marie Pinal, took the children and has yet to return them to their mother. Pinal is 29 years old and believed to be driving a 1998 green Saturn Sedan. Authorities say she could be in Whiteriver, Arizona. Individuals with information are urged to contact the Navajo Nation Police Department or call 9-1-1.
