Sheriff's Office Searching For Flagstaff Woman In Connection With 'Suspicious' Fires

Coconino County

NOTE: The Coconino County Sheriff's Office says it has now located and interviewed Rachel Bridges. It is not clear what her possible connection to the fires may be.

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Flagstaff woman in connection with two fires that occurred Monday and Tuesday.

Officials are hoping to interview Rachel Bridges about the blazes they call “suspicious.” She’s Caucasian, five-foot-five and 110 pounds.

The first fire ignited Monday and a second fire started Tuesday morning, prompting evacuations in the Doney Park area east of Flagstaff. Evacuations have since been lifted.

Officials say structures were damaged and the fire is estimated at about two acres. Anyone with information about the fires or Bridges is asked to contact the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 774-4523 or Silent Witness at (928) 774-6111.
