State-Run Sites To Begin Vaccinating Kids 12-15

istock.com

State-run vaccination sites in Flagstaff, Phoenix, Tucson and Yuma are ready to begin vaccinating children 12 to 15 against the coronavirus. Youth shots of the Pfizer vaccine will begin this Thursday.

There are nearly 400,000 children between the ages of 12 and 15 living in Arizona. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to receive the vaccine. Many pharmacies across the state will also begin administering COVID-19 vaccine this Thursday to the new age group. More information, as well as Spanish translation services, are available through the state vaccination website, podvaccine.azdhs.gov.
