A report by Northern Arizona Housing Solutions shows the cost of renting a two-bedroom apartment in Flagstaff rose by less than a percent last year.

Three housing projects in Flagstaff added more than 100 affordable rentals to the city this year, but the total number of affordable rentals actually decreased.

Finding affordable housing has long been an issue in the City of Flagstaff and the problem is getting worse. The city has an ambitious ten-year plan with a goal of reducing the affordable housing need by half.
