An unusual home is on the market in Nebraska. It has its own missile silo

STEVE INSKEEP, HOST:

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.

A distinctive home is on the market in York, Neb. - one bedroom, one bath, 1,200 square feet. It's listed at $750,000, and it was built in 1962 by the Army Corps of Engineers. This underground home comes with its very own missile silo. It's the silo's old launch control center, guaranteed to survive a nuclear winter and keep out nosy neighbors.
