What should you do if your phone gets wet? Don't put it in a bag of rice

Good morning. I'm Michel Martin.

What should you do if your expensive phone gets wet, and you can't charge it? Whatever you do, don't listen to that friend who shouts, put it in a bag of rice. According to a recent article from Apple Support, the little pieces of rice could get into the crevices of your phone and mess it up. Instead, Apple says, try to shake the liquid out and let the phone dry out in a place with some air flow for 30 minutes or, in some cases, a whole day. Save the rice for dinner, people.
