'Bad Indian' Film Premiere

'Bad Indian' Film Premiere

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the one-night-only Sedona premiere of “Bad Indian: Hiding in Antelope Canyon” on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

Beneath the dominant American narrative, countless atrocities against Indigenous populations remain buried by the passage of time. Explore an untold side of history through the lived experiences and multi-generational hardships of a Diné family inhabiting Antelope Canyon.

Witness the resilience of a family whose history bears the scars of an unjust tragedy as they fight to uphold their cultural identity.

“Bad Indian: Hiding in Antelope Canyon” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona.
