Birds of the Central Arizona Highlands

Birds of the Central Arizona Highlands

Experienced birder Eric Moore will explore the various birds of the Arizona Central Highlands region. Moore's presentation will cover the more common varieties of local bird species that individuals are likely to encounter either in their yard or out in nature. He will also bring several ""Show and Tell"" items such as bird identification guides, binoculars, scopes, and examples of feeders and products to encourage wild birds to visit your yard. Eric Moore is the owner of The Lookout - formerly known as Jay's Bird Barn - in Prescott, AZ. Moore is an experienced birder and has been involved with the Utah County Birders Club as well as the Prescott chapter of the National Audobon Society, where he has served on the board of directors and as the publicity chair. Eric has been in charge of the Spring Migratory Bird Count, led bird walks, and has participated in the Christmas Bird Count in Tucson, Provo, and Prescott over a time period spanning 30 years.
