Butterfly Enthusiasts of Northern Arizona Chapter Meeting

Topic: Monarch Butterflies and Arizona’s Native Bumble Bees

We are pleased to announce Jessi Miller, US Fish & Wildlife biologist, will share information about the most popular butterfly, the Monarch. She will discuss their biology, the most recent proposal by the US Fish & Wildlife to list the Monarch as threatened and the ongoing conservation efforts made by the Arizona Monarch Collaborative. She will also share how we can help the Monarchs. And, for you bee enthusiasts, she will also spend some time speaking about Arizona’s native bumble bees.

Arrive at 10 a.m. for a small snack and to socialize with other butterfly enthusiasts. The meeting will begin at 10:15 a.m. This event is free and open to everyone!
