Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events Training

What should you do if confronted with an active shooter event? The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny Defend (ADD) strategy, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. Topics will include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, and more. This class will be held in the Downtown Library Community Room. WARNING: The class includes video and audio recordings of actual and simulated crises that some may find disturbing, as ell as discussion of crisis situations. It is intended for people aged 18 and older. This program presented by the Flagstaff Police Department. To request a reasonable accommodation for any type of disability, please call 928-213-2331.
