If you ask anyone in Tucson about singer-songwriter, Gabrielle "Gabby" Pietrangelo, they may tell you how she won the John Lennon Summer Song Contest with her Tucson anthem, "Summer Losers," or how she has taught their children music or helped someone find their voice after years away from singing. Gabrielle is a Tucson-based musician, award winning songwriter, harmony group leader and teacher, with a downtown music studio that is home to both school age students and adults seeking to nurture their musical lives. She recently released her finest collection of songs to date on March 7, 2025, with her album entitled, "Back to the Heart." To quote Duncan Hudson -Musical Director of KXCI- "Back to the Heart, is an album that was many years - and a lifetime of living - in the making and which serves as a love song to this community, its people, their stories both personal and collective, and the amazing Sonoran Desert region we call home."Coffeehouse Concerts showcases local and regional talent with an emphasis on original music each month from September through April. The series features a variety of acoustic, contemporary, and traditional styles of music. This concert is arranged and hosted by Jo Berger and presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
