We’re teaming up with the Flagstaff International Film Festival for an unforgettable evening in Heritage Square on Saturday, August 9 - featuring a FREE outdoor screening of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, proudly sponsored by the Flagstaff Film Commission Discover Flagstaff.
Before the movie, enjoy live music, movie-themed trivia with awesome prizes from local businesses, and all the feel-good summer vibes! The film will start around dusk, and concessions will be available - so grab a blanket, bring your friends, and channel your inner Ferris.

The Flagstaff International Film Festival returns the following weekend, August 16–17, at The Orpheum Theater and Theatrikos Theatre Company, with a vibrant lineup of indie films from around the world. This year’s program features everything from drama and comedy to sci-fi and animation, with special highlights like Arizona Stories and locally made films. The festival kicks off with a free screening celebrating Indigenous Cinema, and continues with filmmaker Q&As, community conversations, and a free documentary workshop co-led by acclaimed actor-filmmaker Ryan Begay (Fancy Dance, Dark Winds) and ASU Professor Nita Blum.
