'Hamlet' National Theatre of London

'Hamlet' National Theatre of London

The National Theatre of London continues its season with its acclaimed new production of “Hamlet” showing in Sedona on Sunday and Wednesday, Jan. 25 and 28.

The Sedona International Film Festival hosts the big screen premiere at its Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.

Olivier Award-winner Hiran Abeysekera is Hamlet in this fearless, contemporary take on Shakespeare’s famous tragedy.

Trapped between duty and doubt, surrounded by power and privilege, young Prince Hamlet dares to ask the ultimate question — you know the one.

National Theatre Deputy Artistic Director, Robert Hastie directs this sharp, stylish and darkly funny reimagining.

The National Theatre of London productions in Sedona are generously sponsored by Chuck Marr.

“Hamlet” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre on Sunday, Jan. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 general admission, or $13 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona.
