'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' 50th Anniversary

'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' 50th Anniversary

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to join theaters around the world for a global theatrical event: “Monty Python and the Holy Grail 50th Anniversary” May 4 and 7 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.

Grossing the highest box-office of any British film in the US when released in 1975, this “cult classic” comedy from the Monty Python team loosely follows the legend of King Arthur (Graham Chapman), along with his squire (Terry Gilliam) and his Knights of the Round Table (John Cleese, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin), as they embark on a fearless quest in search of the elusive Holy Grail.

“Monty Python and the Holy Grail” is a hysterical, historical tour-de-force from Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones.

Get ready to go on a Medieval quest with coconut-clacking horses and unforgettable one-liners, that will have you shouting “Bring out your dead” and loving every (91 minutes) of it.

“Monty Python and the Holy Grail 50th Anniversary” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre on Sunday, May 4 at 3:30 p.m. and Wednesday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $12 general admission, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
