Poetry Out Loud: Poetry Reading & Discussion Group

Poetry Out Loud: Poetry Reading & Discussion Group

Poetry Out Loud meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from April to September to read and discuss poetry from that month's poet or theme. Pick up selected materials for the month from the Downtown Library Information Desk. Weather permitting, Poetry Out Loud will meet on the back lawn outside of the library. Bring a blanket or chair, if you'd like!

This month we will be reading poems with the theme of Hope and Resilience/"Try to praise the mutilated world." We will read and discuss an eclectic selection of contemporary and classic poems about what it means to find and maintain hope.

To request a reasonable accommodation for any type of disability, please call 928-213-2331. Three days prior notice is requested.
