Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting a program on Landscaping with Native Plants, in partnership with Yavapai County Master Gardeners on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:45PM.

You’ll learn what defines a native plant, why incorporating them into your home garden supports local ecosystems, and which popular native species thrive in landscaping. Whether you're aiming to conserve water, attract pollinators, or create a vibrant and sustainable outdoor space, native plants offer a natural solution that’s both practical and stunning. Presenter: Laurin Pause
Laurin became a Master Gardener in 2019 and has served as the Speakers Bureau Chair for the past two years. She is an avid backyard gardener, applying the information gained to all aspects of caring for her yard and that of her community and promoting good stewardship of our environment.
