Prescott Writers: How To Create a Storyline for a novel or Short Story

Prescott Writers: How To Create a Storyline for a novel or Short Story

A storyline is the sequence of events that encompass your story. It often occurs before you write out the scenes of your works and can help organize the plot of your story, plan your character development, and ultimately make it easier for readers to follow your plot. In this presentation, author and professor Kristen Kaufman will help you build your skills in creating your own storyline. Kristen Kauffman is a published author and has been teaching English and Creative Writing at Yavapai College since 2010. She graduated from Prescott College in 2009 with a BA in English Language and Literature and earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing from Goddard College in 2012. Prescott Writers is hosted by Central Arizona Writers and presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
