'Rental Family' Film Premiere

'Rental Family' Film Premiere

The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Sedona premiere of “Rental Family” showing Jan. 2-8 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres.

Discover the joy of unexpected connections in “Rental Family”, starring Academy Award-winner Brendan Fraser.

Set in modern-day Tokyo, "Rental Family" follows an American actor (Brendan Fraser) who struggles to find purpose until he lands an unusual gig: working for a Japanese "rental family" agency, playing stand-in roles for strangers.

As he immerses himself in his clients' worlds, he begins to form genuine bonds that blur the lines between performance and reality.

Confronting the moral complexities of his work, he rediscovers purpose, belonging, and the quiet beauty of human connection.

“Rental Family” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres Jan. 2-8. Showtimes will be Friday and Saturday, Jan. 2 and 3 at 3:30 p.m.; Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 4, 5 and 6 at 7:00 p.m.; and Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 7 and 8 at 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
