Open Doors: Art in Action Gallery is proud to present The Healing Power of Art. The 2nd First Friday ArtWalk on October 6th is from 6-8 pm at 423 N Beaver St in the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. The Healing Power of Art is witnessed in this exhibit through therapeutic artworks by: People with Disabilities from Flagstaff’s Hozhoni Studios and Gallery; Patients at the Muhammad Ali Parkinson’s Center, in Phoenix; Clients in the Cancer Support Community of Northern Arizona and Northland Hospice & Palliative Care.

September 1, 6 –8 pm • Opening Reception & First Friday ArtWalk Speakers
• 6:30 pm: Music by Flagstaff’s Threshold Choir with Hozhoni art program videos
• 7pm: Shay Vigil – Gallery Coordinator & Hozhoni Art Studio Instructor
October 6, 6 –8 pm • First Friday ArtWalk Reception & Speakers
• 7pm: Cindy Payne, ED – Northern Arizona Cancer Support Community plus Cancer multimedia artists
November 3, 6 –8 pm • First Friday ArtWalk Reception & Speakers
• 7 pm Robert Garcia – Northern Arizona Parkinsons Support Coalition
• 7:30 pm Ruby Rendon – Hispanic Outreach Program Coordinator, Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center, Barrow Neurological Institute
